Ghana FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC have named another former Black Stars player as their new coach.
Yaw Preko has been named to replace Maxwell Konadu as coach of the Ghana Premier League side.
The official announcement was made in a statement issued by the club on Thursday, July 4.
It comes a couple of days after Konadu, a former Ghana international, resigned from the club despite qualifying them for the CAF Confederation Cup.
He immediately headed to South Africa to sign a two-year contract with Black Leopards.
According to Nsoatreman FC, Yaw Preko, who last coached in the League as Great Olympics boss, is a “perfect fit” for their philosophy and project.
“The 49-year-old is a perfect fit for the Nsoatreman philosophy and project, considering his track record in developing young talents.”
Preko is expected to lead the side, who finished fourth in the just-ended League, in their maiden campaign in Africa and a better position in the 2024/25 League.
