Ghana Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyor scored the equalising goal as Bournemouth drew 1:1 with Thomas Partey’s Arsenal in a pre-season game at the Dignity Health Sports Park.

Semenyor came off the bench in the second half with Arsenal leading through Fabio Viera’s beautifully taken opener in the 17th minute.

From his left-wing attacking role, Semenyor stole the ball from an Arsenal attacker midway in the gunner’s half. His goal attempt cannoned off a Gunners defender, looping over the goalkeeper into an empty net in the 72nd minute.

It was a wonderful effort for the Ghanaian who has been a regular in the Bournemouth team since last season.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey was substituted in the 62nd minute, having bossed the midfield for long periods in the game.

Arsenal eventually won the penalty shoot-out 5:4 to open their pre-season on a high.
