Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has named 25 players for next Friday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.

Addressing journalists in Accra, Coach Addo admitted that the last two outings by the team has brought difficulties but he believes the called-up players will bring back the smiles on fans.

Among returnees into the squad are Fenerbahce’s Alexander Djiku, Lyon’s Ernest Nuamah and Axerre’s Gideon Mensah.

A debut call-up has also been handed FC Samartex’s defender Isaac Afful.

The first leg is scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, October 10 with the second leg scheduled for Tuesday, October 15 at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benghazi, Libya.
