UEFA Europa League winners Atalanta Bergamo have signed Black Stars midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana Karkari from Cagliari in a deal reported to be around €8 million.

The deal also involves three players moving to the opposite direction.

Sulemana joined Cagliari from Hellas Verona, where he played in the youth team.

In his one season with Sardinian club, the 21-year-old made 21 appearances, scoring two goals.

The move for the Ghanaian will see Atalanta sell full-back Nadir Zortea and loan centre-forward Roberto Piccoli and midfielder Michel Ndary Adopo to Cagliari
