Ghana’s Black Queens were thrashed 4-0 over the weekend by Nadeshiko Japan in a friendly match played at Kanazawa’s Go Go Curry Stadium.

The Queens endured a difficult first half after skipper Portia Boakye was red-carded for a foul on Aoba Fujino in the 23rd minute.

The endurance was broken after a goalless first half when Mina Tanaka’s goal was given after consultation with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

The hosts went on to score two more.

The first was scored in the 65th through Maika Hamano and Fujino made it 3-0 in the 67th minute.

With 10 minutes to go, Fujino assisted Riko Ueki to score the fourth goal for Nadeshiko, ending the game 4-0.
