USA’s Justin Gatlin revealed he received support from his Ghanaian half brother Duke Quarshie and his family ahead of winning silver in the 100m final at Doha 2019.
Gatlin told Liquid Sports Ghana that Duke sent well wishes to him along with photos of his nieces and nephews prior to the race.

Gatlin clocked 9.89s to take second place behind his American compatriot Christian Coleman who on gold in 9.76s while Canadian Andre De Grasse came third in 9.90s.
