Head Coach of the Black Princesses Yusif Basigi has joined Tanzanian club Simba Queens on a one-year contract.
The veteran coach left Accra on Tuesday, September 24 for his new job.
Basigi has been at the helm as the Head Coach of Ghanaian champions Hasaacas Ladies for over two decades.
During that period, he had the extra duty of coaching some national female football teams including the Black Queens and the Black Princesses, whom he led at the just-ended FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
“After serving Hasaacas Ladies for 21 years, I have decided to take up a new challenge in Tanzania with Simba Queens as their Head Coach,” Basigi is quoted as saying.
“Though far away from the club of my heart, I will always wish them the very best of luck in all their encounters both domestic and international.”
Simba Queens announced the new appointment on their official page on Wednesday.
