Thomas Partey has been named in Arsenal’s 26-man squad for the tour of the USA.
Mikel Arteta’s team is comprised of some of the regulars and inexperienced players from the youth team. They would line up against Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Liverpool during their stay in the States.
The team includes Partey, club captain Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus, Ben White, and Jurrien Timber.
Some players who recently played in Euro 2024 such as Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Jakub Kiwior, and Oleksandr Zinchenko have also joined the team.
Meanwhile, the club has made some announcements concerning the arrival of players who spent much time at the Euros due to the progression of their national teams and the Copa America as well. The Brazilian duo of Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and Germany’s Kai Havertz will join the squad on July 25.
England’s Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, Spain’s David Raya, and France’s William Saliba – will link up with their teammates upon our return from America.
The Gunners start their campaign against Bournemouth at LA Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park on Wednesday, July 24 (7.30pm local time). They take on Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles the following Saturday (5pm local) before travelling to Philadelphia to take on Liverpool at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, August 1 (7.30pm local).
