Sudan coach James Kwesi Appiah has been spotted at the training grounds of Asante Kotoko ahead of their clash against rivals Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup.
Kwesi Appiah was seen in town for the first time after the draw for the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana were drawn in the same group as Sudan, to play Angola and Niger as well.
Per the schedule, the Ghana-Sudan doubleheader will be honoured on October.
But Kwesi Appiah is said to be in Ghana due to his role as a management member of Asante Kotoko.
It was on the ticket of the club that he was elected as Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Already, Kwesi Appiah is said to have engineered the transfer of some Sudanese players to the Porcupine Warriors fold.
Kotoko will lock horns with Hearts of Oak in the Cup on Wednesday, July 17.
