Ghana’s Thomas Partey has returned to Arsenal for pre-season ahead of the 2024-2025 English Premier League season.
The Ghanaian appears to be in a good mood for the season given pictures released by Arsenal’s media team on social media.
The Black Stars vice-captain has a year left on his contract at the Emirates stadium and has indicated his desire to continue with the Gunners.
But there is no word yet from Arsenal about extending the contract of the midfielder following an injury-plagued career at the Gunners, after joining from Spanish side, Atletico Madrid in 2020.
Partey was among 10 first-team players who reported to the North London club on Monday. They include club captain Martin Odegaard, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Eddie Nketiah, Jurrien Timber, Ben White, Reiss Nelson, Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey, Fabio Vieira, and Emile Smith Rowe.
Arsenal kick off their pre-season with a game against Bournemouth on Thursday, July 25 before heading out to the United States for a tour.
